For years we have been saying that Homosexuality is not a choice, its nature not nurture etc etc; you know the story. Recently, there has been more and more scientific evidence supporting this. During this time, the Religious right have been in denial, quoting the bible, restating the penalty for us who 'sin', generally fighting all the way. Recently, some have realised that because of the mounting scientific evidence, they have to change their story. The above link will take you to an article tells us when/if it is possible to identify a gay child while it is still in the womb; then it is ok with the big guy upstairs if you have the child aborted!! Hmmm - I wonder if this is the only exception to their 'no abortion' stance? Others are also stating that they should be able to use genetic advances to allow the gay child to be 'cured' before birth, and here is me thinking that the religious right didnt support Designer Babies!!
Homosexuality occurs in many species in nature, it is natural; why is this so hard to accept? Why are the Religious Right so scared of homosexuality that they will make exceptions in conflict with core issues that they have pushed so hard in the past?
I think even if there was a way to prove that Jesus was gay, they still would fight the same old arguments

Away from the religious sanction of the arguments, I personally believe that homosexuality is a choice. Although not gay myself. My fiance herself since a child she would only eat Mac&Cheese and Grilled Cheese. To this day that is still what she eats, but in her mind she has the mindset that everything else is absolutely disgusting. She wants to change her eating habits but finds it incredibly difficult its burned in her mind. Although difficult to try and show a similarity this does show that sometimes something that happens in the past can potentially affect your future; which has been scientifically proven as well. But a lot of science consists of theory that are yet to be proven as well. So until then, We can only wait. God's Peace =D
Science has actually proven that homosexuality is not a choice. The Religious Right in the US is even starting to acknowledge it; the shame is they state that its ok to abort gay babies, or have them genetically cured.

Honestly abortion to me is wrong period. Gay or Not I would absolutely refuse to deprive a child of his life that he/she is entitled to. I can't even believe that somebody would do tests to determine their Gender attraction. Actually I can probably be more than sure it happens... it's America; But if my fiance were to conceive (and say this test was done and approved for homosexuality) all I can do is be a mentor/father. I can always discourage it, but if this is inherited, then it is.
I have an uncle that is homosexual, and honestly I believe him to be the coolest person in the world. In the respect that we have for eachother, he cares never to bring up any contreversal conversation for the sake of his family and myself being hard believers, but in the same respect that we can't turn to him and bash him for this. In this sense we keep a strong relationship and bond, because he is just as much a human being as any one of us.

I'm Catholic, though I firmly believe that no one chooses to be gay. Homosexuality deals with a lot of factors, genetics, psychological elements come into play in deciding and forming a person's gender. Come on, who chooses to be live in a lifestyle that is shunned by the majority of society?
