Sad Digg Users

I think, like a lot of people, digg is a great site and communities are forming as the user base grows into 'groups' or communities of friends.

There are two types of user however that are becoming more common;

1. The Hater

2. The Preacher

Firstly the hater, lets use an example. There has been a user I have reported to Digg Abuse many times, but, he keeps creating new Id's (some of these have been jamescarville, mudpplsuck, diggfaggot, and the latest one today - redmeat) His hobby is using the words 'mud people' faggot's (or as he says 'fagg0t') After a little google work - we find that this is a 52 yr old man from Pittsburg - into cars and share dealing.

Secondly - The preacher. These are users, usually webmasters of other sites - who put a spin on news stories (usually religious) on the same issues day after day. An example of this is the user iloveonenewsnow. This guy has submitted loads of stories with a religious spin (usually to spread hate) - This is SPAM plain and simple - however we cant email digg abuse on this. These are users who only submit stories, never digg other stories and never comment.

Its such a shame these people exist who cloud an excellent site

Thanks Tony! But can you have a quiet word with your friend George?

Tony Blair is in the last weeks of his leadership. He's done good things and bad things, like any past Prime Minister. We are told of a great friendship between Tony and George Bush. I wonder if they have ever exchanged views on gay rights? Tony, before you go, can you try and talk your logic on this issue to your best bud George?

Clerical comedy

So it appears that Catholics put their own opinions above finding good homes for kids

Poor Christians - They can get quite upset when they are backed into a corner

There are still a few religious nuts that are part of the digg community that take part in the discussions around homosexuality - after one particular long discussion, when the religious nuts were getting backed into a corner, one poor nut lost it! (See the link for the complete article on Digg)

An extract:

"joeyjojo - Do you put words in people's mouths much?

You obviously "need" to get your point across - G'luck, I'm done with talking to Godless, non-spiritual people like you. I haven't mentioned hate, once - You come across like the many people here, who think they are too smart for a belief in God. You go ahead and see what you want to see.

Oh, and I'll leave msg's any mf'in way I want. Anything else you want to try to point out to me? Ya fuckin' jerkoff"

Very Christian isnt it?

Hypocritical Religion

For years we have been saying that Homosexuality is not a choice, its nature not nurture etc etc; you know the story. Recently, there has been more and more scientific evidence supporting this. During this time, the Religious right have been in denial, quoting the bible, restating the penalty for us who 'sin', generally fighting all the way. Recently, some have realised that because of the mounting scientific evidence, they have to change their story. The above link will take you to an article tells us when/if it is possible to identify a gay child while it is still in the womb; then it is ok with the big guy upstairs if you have the child aborted!! Hmmm - I wonder if this is the only exception to their 'no abortion' stance? Others are also stating that they should be able to use genetic advances to allow the gay child to be 'cured' before birth, and here is me thinking that the religious right didnt support Designer Babies!!

Homosexuality occurs in many species in nature, it is natural; why is this so hard to accept? Why are the Religious Right so scared of homosexuality that they will make exceptions in conflict with core issues that they have pushed so hard in the past?

I think even if there was a way to prove that Jesus was gay, they still would fight the same old arguments

The bible says nothing about Homosexuality

It appears that those quoting the bible when battling homosexuality are doing so incorrectly due to some of the many translation errors and interpretation errors in this text

Justice is done!

Its sad to see people fighting like this to the bitter end! However it is thankful that these new laws in the UK are being upheld even from the strongest sources.
