It appears that those quoting the bible when battling homosexuality are doing so incorrectly due to some of the many translation errors and interpretation errors in this text

One of the many problems and the splits between so many different religions is because of the different interpretations of the bible. Maybe back then when the literary works were done; homosexuality wasn't a big thing, or at even existed (which i'm sure probably did), but who may ever know. Many religions against homosexuality would probably have the main argument that God created Women and Men in the abilities to reproduce; in the beginning God created Adam and Eve, and not two Adam's or two Eve's. But again this is just my opinion as well. Just as much as this blog is your opinion... God's Peace =D
I totally respect your opinion. But there is proven evidence that homosexuality existed way before Christ.
If I would agree with your suggestion that approval/disapproval was based on the ability to procreate, I would also be agreeing that those unfortunate people that are unable to have children would then also not be allowed to marry
Very true, but in a similar instance, my mother's good friend was told that she would never be able to bare a child, 10 years later after being married has finally conceived. Miracle's happen. It is unfortunate for a women that would like to concieve, has the inability too; but again the bible is very broad in suggesting just that procreating was the only form of a marriage.
Exactly, a form of Marriage.
Other forms can include love only, here surely homosexual relationships could be considered valid.
Now being light in my research myself, I'm always told that Marriage is the bonding of a Man and Woman in holy matrimony, and states this as an explicit sexual difference. Is this true or is the term Marriage used broadly throughout the bible as well?
It is stated that marriage is between a man and a woman - but it does not explicitly state that it should not be between two men or two women.
Infact - referring to the translation issues - the bible says nothing about homosexuality.
The Bible says nothing about homosexuality??? I guess if you are blind and want to change something obvious into whatever you think it should mean, then maybe so....but Leviticus 20:13 is blatantly clear in it's meaning...
I don't care if someone is gay. Be gay all you want, I don't care (that's all on you, not me)...just shut up and be gay. The whole world doesn't need to know about it! But don't try to tell me that what I believe is faux pas because it doesn't fit into your lifestyle decisions...and, don't tell me I have to condone or accept it, because I don't! I believe it is wrong, plain and simple...
Lifestyle choice? - Being gay is no choice - I know thats hard for people like you to believe - but its true; even the American Psych Association presents this opinion now
